It’s the subject that scares the daylights out of architects and engineers alike; and can leave people in the dark at the worst possible time! This month’s IES session is all about emergency lighting control. We will provide an overview of the guidelines and standards that affect emergency lighting, a detailed look at the different hardware needed, and an analysis of the right and wrong way to approach emergency lighting control. This session will provide you the knowledge and confidence to design emergency lighting systems that can be counted on when things go from a state of normal to a state of emergency.
