This course addresses the evolution interior lighting trends in the context of the modern workplace. Since the advent of the LED age, our design considerations shifted to energy efficiency, lumens per watt ruled the design. As LED efficacies have improved, and energy codes have advanced meeting those requirements is a given. It’s time to refocus our design intent to the visual comfort of the occupants. After completing this course you will understand how controlling glare, selecting the best type of fixture for the space and taking new design standards into condensation are key to creating a comfortable workspace.
